KYAHHH!

Hello there! This weekend went well I think.

I wasn't going to allow myself to attend the Bento Box Japanese Film Festival because of the awful start I got off to this week. It was something I was supposed to earn by putting in the work to do well on my exams, oh well. I spent several hours studying in the library today to validate the trip, and also I am required to review a cinematic event for Intro to Film anyway. So there!

I had never taken the Rail Runner to Santa Fe before, I might have to do so more often. It's only 6 dollars round trip for students. I packed a lunch and brought a few books I needed to read for school (though the ride was too shaky to take notes). No one wanted to go with me, of course. One please~

I could only make it to two of the screenings, Genius Party and Kamikaze Girls. Genius Party was a collection of shorts that were sort of hit or miss, but Kamikaze Girls was definitely worth the trip. It was a modest affair, there weren't more than 20 people in the theatre. I liked that. The concession stand even had japanese candy and snax, kawaii.

kbai thx 4 reading ilu.
