I promised myself I would patronize the Los Angeles museum circuit this Summer, thus the Magical Mystery Tour of Knowledge and Learning commenced yesterday. I started with the Griffith Observatory, which I had not visited since it closed for renovations 8 years ago. I used to frequent the observatory as a kid, so I was especially excited. On the surface it seems as though little has changed (aside from cosmetic improvements), but once you descend into the observatory halls the renovations are much more apparent. Unfortunately I neglected to take photos of it's architecture to illustrate said renovations, forgetting that I might be blogging about the trip later. My apologies! You probably won't learn much from the following photos but rest assured that I did!
More museums tours to come! :)
