Hello Internet, it has been a while.

Usually I'm lying when I say that I have no time to blog but for the past three weeks I have simply had no time at all, for anything. Also, I was without Internet connection for two of the three weeks I have been absent. Reason being I was up in the mountains of Tijeras gutting our house that is now officially for sale. It's a beautiful house really, and I will miss it. I will not, however, miss New Mexico. Which brings me to my next announcement, I am leaving the land of enchantment (or the land of entrapment as some fondly refer to it). For good.

To keep the bile from rising any further, I'll refrain from trash-talking the state in which I resided for two miserable years. Things didn't work out and I'm trying not to be too negative about it. Save for a couple people I found to put up with my antics (you know who you are), I never quite fit in or felt comfortable enough to be myself. Needless to say, UNM wasn't exactly the best learning environment. What's done is done, I'm moving on, etc.

Anyway, once everything was moved out of the 4 bedroom, 1500 sq ft house, we had to move all of our junk back into our much smaller, 2 bedroom apartment in Los Angeles. Lots of burly man-work was done, perhaps the noodles I have in place of arms will gain some muscle. What didn't make it into the apartment was either sold in the small garage sale I held last weekend or given to Goodwill. Some interesting characters perused my merchandise...

Only in LA right? So I'm back, and my schedule has slowed down for a bit, allowing more time for blogging, I promise. It's good to be home. :')
