Romantic Couch
I've been itching to write about these two musical duos for a while. Both occupy the growing niche that is the Korean House music scene. Usually House music gives me a headache after a while, but their collective beats are so smooth and simple it's hard to not to bounce along.

Oriental Funk Stew
Romantic Couch is comprised of Junjaman, who's in charge of beats, and vocalist Jade. Oriental Funk Stew has a similar setup up with DJ Decode and Honey-J. Since I could not possibly do them justice with my poor music journalism skills, I'll just share a couple tracks that I enjoy most.
From Romantic Couch I give you "Star." All I could find on YouTube was a live version they performed at the 2007 Ssamzie Sound Festival.
And here is Oriental Funk Stew's "Sweet Melody", from their debut album The Housekeeper, which is more danceable in comparison to "Star" and well, funkier. They also have a lot more available online in terms of music videos, and download links, unlike Romantic Couch whose album, The House With The Remixes, I could only find on iTunes.
