Cassehh..

I didn't know it would take me so long to get back into the swing of things.. I haven't been able to concentrate on any one thing this whole week, which includes posting on this blog. So I figure I'll start off slow by posting some belated Cassie news.
A new single, "Thirsty", leaked out a couple weeks ago. I listened to it, (listen to it here), and at first I wasn't much impressed. It's synthy intro, the lyrics: "thirsty, ah, thirsty, ah", and the spelling of thirsty twice in the first 30 seconds, turned me off immediately. And the whole business of being "thirsty" for Cassie seemed like a dumb idea for a song, maybe for one lyric within a different song, but not a whole one. I mean, yeah, anyone would thirst over Cassie, look how well her face fits on this Gatorade bottle:

But as for being the basis of an entire song, I'm not so sure. After listening a couple more times, it's kind of grown on me, but most likely because I want to like it. The truth is, I'm more interested in seeing Cassie again than whatever crappy music she puts out.
