When I lived in Los Angeles, I often wished that there were more of a climate change throughout the year. For the most part, it's always relatively sunny, and the temperature rarely drops below 60 all year. I wanted snow, rain, and more importantly, a good excuse to wear a nice sweater every now and again. Well, I got more than what I wished for when I moved to New Mexico, to the right is my neighborhood's weather forecast.
If you don't know this already, snow gets real old, real fast. Those temperatures aren't even that bad, last week it was ONE degree outside. I remember taking the bus to school back in Los Angeles, shivering in 60 degree weather. How could I be so ignorant? When it's 47 here, you take your coat off and relish the warm weather, exclaiming, "Hey! It's getting pretty warm outside huh?"
It's obvious I'm not used to the weather, as I walk around in the morning with five layers on, a hat, and my scarf wrapped around my face. I see people walking around in t-shirts sometimes in 40 degree weather, and I assume that they're either extremely stupid, or just accustomed to living in this kind of weather. Still, sometimes it's nice to be able to say, "Look! It's snowing out!" once in a while.
